BETTER THAN BEFORE was founded in 2022 while gathering some friends together in an effort to clean up the beach following the festivities of the 4th of July. The more people witnesses us picking up trash, the more people joined in.

 

Realizing the value of the local community witnessing likeminded beach lovers caring for their environment, and the enthusiasm with which our efforts were received - I decided to create BETTER THAN BEFORE: a community dedicated to cleaning our beaches after big events.

 

Our goal of inspiring party goers to understand that clean up is equally as import and pack up was quickly realized. Our ethos is simple: Anything that comes to the beach, leaves the beach.

 

We cherish these waves, these beached and the rad events that bring so many Angelenos together. We want to ensure that the next generation will be able to enjoy every inch of this bay for many years to come.
